Farming at Bishops Farm

The Grant family have been growing and vining fresh peas for over 60 years at Bishops Farm, Sibsey Northlands, just north of Boston in Lincolnshire. Today the farm is run by Ian and Stuart Grant under the trading name of Bishops Farm Partners.

The main crops on the farm today are: winter wheat (400ha); oil seed rape (45ha); potatoes (69ha); sugar beet (45ha); calibrese (100ha); and fresh vining peas (340ha). Around 220ha of our land is rented. We also have eight Lincoln red cattle on stewardship grassland. The produce is grown to a high standard which goes to processors and packers who supply the main supermarkets.
